Mora de Ebro is located on the right bank of the Ebro, the passage between the Donkey and Barrufemes the center of the basin called Mora. The town is the capital of the region of the Ebro basin and extends over 48 km2, where more than 6,000 people. Mora de Ebro reached via the N-420, C-12 and T-324.
The oldest settlement in the municipality, documented to date back 6,000 years ago and is situated in the Neolithic period, particularly in the culture of pit graves, documented by Dr. Bosch Gimpera a burial located during construction of bridge arches. The local economy is mainly based on commerce and services, it also relies on the auxiliary industry and the fur and, to a lesser extent, agriculture. The town has a long history of association with numerous organizations with a cultural and sports, among other features, the Yacht Club, Tennis Club, a sports hall, the Municipal Sports Field, public swimming pools, playgrounds, the shooting, the Circuit de Mora County Library, the Municipal Theatre, the Municipal School of Music and Dance, the place of St. Jerome, instead of camping and leisure, where the chapels of St. Jerome and St. Madrona and the monument to the Sardana John Segu, all under the shade of centuries-old cypress trees at the foot of the Picossa. Other attractions are: the natural Aubadera the bullring carved into the rock, the medieval castle crowns the town promenade Bridge, Calvary, the sports center, Plaza de Dalt in the center of Mora de Ebro, with the statue of the sculptor son of the town, Julio Antonio work done by sculptor Morenci, James Costa, the house Montagut eighteenth century, and the convent of the Minimes, with Church of the Sacred Heart, among other interesting buildings.

Currently, Mora de Ebro, due to its excellent geographical location, demographic momentum alive with the expansion of the urban area of the town. Mora de Ebro has been the birthplace of renowned sculptors as Antonio Julio, Carles Mani, James Costa, Ramon Ferrer Feliu Subirats.
